The end of another year. I made it through with a few cheats on days I forgot to take a photo (but that was only 6 days!)
Walk 1000 miles didn't happen... it was always a long shot, walking with a toddler! My end of year total is 443 miles. A bit disappointing really (I'd hoped to make it to 500!).
1000 hours outside was disappointing too. I really hoped to beat last years total of 884 hours and reach 900 if not 1000 hours. I tracked myself and Jasper separately this time as I have been working for part of the year and he gets time in Grandpa's Garden. I only got in 834 hours outside this year and Jasper made it to 866. So a fail on one hand but on the other, there is no failing at 1000 hours outside as all the time is valuable and a lot of learning and development happened across those 866 hours. Another win here is that there were only 7 days when he didn't spend any time outside - that's time outdoors on 358 days of 2022! We can try to reach 900+ next year.
Well done anyway, I am pretty sure Jasper had a fabulous year, and he’s not counting the hours and miles. He’s only got little legs, bet he got close to a 1,000 little leg miles.
