Defender of the Feeder

I finally put a couple of Hummingbird feeders out front and this male Anna's has been quite active driving off competitors. Filler since it's now dark when I leave and get home.

What a beautiful colour it has on it's head. The closest we get to hummingbirds is sunbirds and I am yet to get a shot of one of those. It's on my dream list.
