@ellen Not living, just some feathers from a cat victim. I'm just trying to look at some things differently with the macro. Once I get the hang of focus and exposure I'll start playing with merging multiple exposures for increased DOF. Something I've wanted to play with for a while, now I have the tools.
@wahyusp I'll be using a tripod and a micrometer xy stage, should be able to shift a subject by .01mm or so between frames if I want to. Very laborious though.
beautiful colours and lovely to see this level of detail, I have been looking into updating my macro lens - this inspires me to continue looking into it
(handheld) focus stacking will be hard on this...
