Had another chance to shoot some fireflies, pulled off the shoulder of a two lane highway and spent ten minutes chasing these guys around. Great fun! I managed to get some of the beetle in his own light.
Awesome capture! I would have loved to watch you chase them, lol. I used to catch them and put them in jars when I was a kid to take to my room as a nightlight! ha ha, didn't work well but what the heck!
Wow! I can see more of the beetle in this shot. When I was a child, my brother and I caught the fireflies and put them in jars. It doesn't seem like there are as many fireflies now.
