Piece of the Berlin Wall by rosiekerr

Piece of the Berlin Wall

Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, has three pieces of the Berlin Wall (after it was removed), standing as an exhibit near the Christopher Wren-designed "St. Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury." This exhibit is well placed, because this was the site of Sir Winston Churchill's famous "Sinews of Peace" address, which many believe marked the beginning of the Cold War.
Wow, I didn't not realize this. A good reminder to us all. Nice capture of this fragmented wall and glad it was taken down. FAV

I'd love to see this, as I went to East Berlin when it was still Communist.

Great shot. I like the glimpse of the church through the gap in the wall.
