Turkish Pavilion by rosiekerr

Turkish Pavilion

Looking like a candy cane, the Turkish Pavilion is located in Tower Grove Park, City of St. Louis. Founded in 1868, the grounds of park remain largely unchanged today, including this pavilion. I chose b&w because of the strong lines, but (in real life) the top is a bright candy red and white. Maybe I should have not changed it?

Thanks so much for taking time to stop by and let me natter on about nerdy history things. So appreciated!
Great stripes.

I think the b&w are perfect because in actuality your eyes will make it look red and white to you if you let them. very cool shapes
