This is a photo I took on Tuesday when I was at the RSPB in Sandy and I thought I would upload it before I was tempted with anything else so I've done this before going to work. I've nevver seen one of these little birds before and would not have recognised it if my friend Ernie had not told me about them. They come to UK for the winter and will be disappearing in the next couple of weeks back to Africa (I think). Can;t quite remember where he told me but will check with him when I see him later.
They tend to head off to the woods to breed & love damp alder woods; they certainly breed near here in West Wales!
