I'm so pleased to have had 3 pics on PP and I am really grateful for all your kind comments and favs. it is really appreciated. I started this projecgt 15 months ago with an Olympus P&S, then bought a Panasonic Lumix bridge camera before I got the Nikon which again is a bridge camera. I would never have thought that I could progress so much in such a short time and it's probably due to taking pics each day (Practice makes Perfect!) and by trying some of the camera settings challenges. Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. I'm afraid I have been really busy today so have posted some pics that I took yesterday at RSPB. It was too cold to keep the camera in the car this morning while I was at meetings so I didn't take it with me as I was afraid it might get damaged and it was not really convenient to take it in to the meetings I attended. I did take a pic with my P&S which was in my bag but quite honestly, I couldn't post it as it was rubbish compared to my usual shots so please forgive me for posting yet more from my trip to RPSB Headquarters at Sandy which is about 4 miles down the road from where I live.
Rosie, you don't have to apologise in anyway for a yesterday shot. You are the queen of bird photography as far as I am concerned. This one is just splendid. Apart from the fab photography, I can't understand how you get the birds to stay still. Well done! Fav.
Oh my! Hi there, woodpecker! I have seen one of these flitting around my mom and dad's back yard but he never holds still enough for me to get a good look.
