I don't know what type of duck this is. Perhaps someone on here might know. This was taken at Priory this afternoon before I went to the hairdressers. I started work early so that I could finish in time to have a quick walk around the lake to see if there was anything interesting to shoot. It was a bit disappointing really and in my haste, I forgot to send a report off. Oh dear, I'll be in trouble on Monday but it wasn't totally my fault as I was waiting for some information from a colleague and because I didn't hear from her after leaving a message on her phone, I forgot. I don't suppose it's the end of the world but I don't like to be thought of an incompetent! It was the end of the week and I've been really busy and have worked way over my hours. I picked up 14 new clients yesterday at an over 60s tea afternoon so I've lots to do on 10 hours a week for this particular project!
I think this is a grebe Rosie. They are winter visitors to the east coast of Britain. Google images and see. I am not entirely sure but it doesnt have a ducks bill. Nice capture (especially if it is a grebe)
