Having breakfast

I haven't been out yet so these pics have all been taken in my garden (through whichever window I happened to look out at!). Mr Starling was enjoying his breakfast of mixed dried fruit and fruit flavoured suet pellets. They were really put on the sundial for the mistle thrush who did come for some after I took this photo but I was upstairs in the bedroom changing the bed and my camera was downstairs! Isn't it always the way?!!

It's a great shot Rosie. I tried some tripod bird pics yesterday through an open window, but none as good as this. It's really clear and the light is lovely.

I love it! And yes, I know just what you mean. by the way, saw some starlings at my bus stop today, and they had totally lost their "spots", which they had just a few weeks ago, and were now that iridescent greenish purple.
