This little fellow was dashing about on the washing line outside the kitchen window this morning before I went to work.
I have had a really busy day at work as I received a phone call from the housing association who own the bungalow where one of my clients live. They phoned to say that a neighbour had contacted them because she hadn't seen my client for a few days and her post was building up. I was planning on visiting her today to take her an electric fire which I had got from freecycle so I decided that I had better visit sooner rather than later so went straight there. The Police and Paramedics were then when I arrived as they had had to break in. The lady had fallen over and had been lying on the floor for several days and she looked terrible but at least she was still alive. She is quite a tough cookie and she is 90 years old. Fortunately, I was able to give the Police and Paramedics details of her next of kin who is her cousin. She has been taken off to hospital and I will phone and find out which ward she is in as I shall probably try to visit her tomorrow. Then I had to ring my client who is looking after his wife with dementia and say that I would be late for his visit and he said his wife had been admitted to hospital too. I have since found out that they are going to discharge her back to the care home where she is in respite as I was going to give him a lift to the hospital as he wouldn't be able to visit her. I've got lots to sort out for them both so tomorrow will be just as busy
Wonderful shot...he looks like he's watching you....oh dear for the lady who fell...good thing someone noticed the post build up. You have a very busy time ahead of you....take care of yourself too.
First - beautiful shot of the yellow bird/yellow line. Second - what a day. Good on the neighbours for acting eventually - shame nobody was looking out for her each day though. We used to chase up our neighbour if we didn't hear her smoke detector in the evening because she never failed to set it off. Keep up the good work!
A lovely capture BTW.
