No birds today as it's been showery and I took this by doing a detour on the way to Sainsbury's. I had already driven down Harrowden Lane on the way back from a visit to a client this morning but didn't have time to take any pics so took this after I had finished instead. It is good news regarding my 90 year old lady who was taken to hospital after falling and laying on the floor for 3 days! She has now been transferred to a residential home where she will be looked after well. The home she has gone to is one of the nicer homes in Bedford and the Manager gets involved with the residents too so I'm really pleased for her. I shall carry out one visit to just check she's OK and take her the bottle of Lucozade that's still sitting in my kitchen that I bought for her. Sadly, her cousin didn't bother to take any clothes into the hospital for her and she told me that she has cleared them all out of her bungalow and said that she would get her some new ones. However, she hasn't done that yet so she had to be transferred in men's pyjama bottoms and some sort of odd top. How humiliating is that! I was rather cross when the ward staff told me that. Poor thing
