Others on 365 have shamed me with their home cooking so today I decided I had better put my tomatoes to good use and make some soup. I planted far too many and have 16 plants which have produced so many toms that I haven't been able to give them all away! Steve said I should ask Sainsbury's if they wanted to take some off my hands - LOL. I worked 6.5 hours today (far too many but very rewarding) and so I didn't get home until 4.30pm but as I had planned to make the soup, I decided I must do it. Also, I hadn't got any pics to put on here so that was another motivator! What a lot of washing up though just to make a few bowls of soup. I need to wait for the dishwasher to finish before I fill it up again.
Last night I watched a documentary on Ayrton Senna which didn't finish until about midnight but it was a really good programme but made me cry at the end. He was such a lovely chap and to lose his life in a crash was awful but his friend put into practice some of his ideas to make Formula 1 racing safer and nobody fortunately has lost their life since. Also his family set up a Trust which has helped 12 million poor children in Brazil to have an education and have a much better life because of it so something good has come out of something bad!
A lovely collage!! I watched the Ayrton Senna documentary, too, although I do have the DVD.It was awful how he was set up by the french boss of the FIA,in favour of Prost!!
