I think this is a young robin (probably second brood) that hasn't yet got his red breast. He looks the shape of a robin, his tail looks like a robin and his spindly legs certainly do but if anyone knows better, I would be pleased to be corrected.
I've been to the Osteopath today to see whether she can do anything for the tingling in my fingers on my left hand as I think it's probably a trapped nerve in my neck. I wonder whether holding my head in strange positions to get pics of birds has got anything to do with it! Anyway, I've got to go back again next week so I'll just have to wait and see.
I wasn't very enthusiastic today when I walked round Priory because I only had my bridge camera with me and missed a wonderful shot of a heron who was flying low the length of the main lake shouting at something or someone (not sure what or who) but it might have been because he was upset about the noise children were making on the lake! I could have kicked myself for not having my other camera with me so this is a filler from the other day
Take care of yourself. Hope you feel better soon.
