Orchids are such good value - they just keep flowering. I've not been out for a walk this afternoon because it started raining just before I left work so I went home and made a sticky ginger cake instead!
So I thought, what am I going to post today? Well I tried out my 3 lenses on different settings and took a pic of this orchid (one of 13) which sit on my windowsill in the kitchen. It is a huge bay window above the sink and it always has some orchids flowering. I've now got to go and light the fire as I laid it before taking the orchid pics.
By the way, in case you are interested, this was taken with the kit lens which came with the camera and I decided it was probably the best one.
@lynnb You have to be patient as they don't keep flowering all the time although they do keep going for absolutely ages but then they rest. It is best to underwater rather than overwater and sometimes all we do is mist them!
