I walked far too far today but I met some people who told me that there were some day old ducklings beyond Dovecote Lake so I thought I would take a look. I didn't see them (not sure exactly where they were supposed to be) but \I did see this little fellow. You can't see his legs very well in this shot but I've got one of a back view confirming that this is a willow warbler not a chiffchaff. I was so pleased to get some shots of him as they are often difficult to spot and hide among the leaves which are now coming out.
By the way, thanks to everyone who got my robin pic on PP yesterday. I always get a thrill if I see one of my pics on there. Also thanks to all the new people who are now following me. I don't get a chance to thank everyone individually but I always appreciate your kind comments and Favs.
It is a lovely shot and the focus is great, now with the one dark leg I can see and dark check that makes the eye ring stick out and the subdued supercilium I would of called this a Chiffchaff? Though I would be probable wrong
