I thought I had better upload this before I changed my mind. I've had a quick play in Elements and used the artistic painting style. it's good fun really and I didn't realise the things you could do with it because I've never tried. This was a RAW file and I'm thankful that it's now working on my laptop because I've deleted all the files I took at the Meet Up because I couldn't seem to work with them at all. It looks as though I've finally got it sorted on this laptop if not on the other!
I went to the AV night at Camera Club last night and I've now got the bug to do some AVs. It will take while to get used to that though. Perhaps I should take one step at a time and not try to run before I can walk!
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated and I never fail to get excited when one of my pics makes PP. I've got a friend coming round tonight who wants to buy a DSLR and I didn't realise that after 15 months I would be showing someone else how to use one and what to look for! 365 has been responsible for a lot of my progress so thanks everyone for letting me view your images and learn from them.
