Down for a drink by rosiekind

Down for a drink

I've been to RSPB HQ this afternoon at Sandy and because it was a bit showery (but lovely when the sun was out), I walked over to the hide. I saw this lovely cock pheasant who came down for a drink at the pond. I had seen the hen first but didn't manage to get any shots of her as she kept in the undergrowth and was much less confident. It was a job to decide which images to put on here today.

I think I'm going to try to reduce my hours at work because I just don't have enough time for my photography!

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and I really will try to catch up after dinner as I won't be going out tonight
Lovely capture!!

I so wish I could reduce my hours Rosie. How I would love to just take shots and have time to play around with my photography. Just never enough hours in the day. Great capture Rosie. I am a member of the local wildlife trust but never get chance to get to the reserves.
