Look who came to see us at Camera Club last night. This is Keira the barn owl and she was such a good girl. She is 16 weeks old and fully grown but is still a baby (if that makes sense). Ian from Forrest Owl in Wilden brought her so that had a chance to take loads of pics. This is just one of the many I took and I went through them very quickly when I came in so it probably isn't the best one. Anyway, I was first in the queue to photograph her (not surprising really eh?) and she was looking round all over the place to start with. Once she settled down towards the end of the evening, I went through again and took some more shots. By this time, she was so comfortable with everything, she dozed off to sleep! She lifted her leg and stood there with both eyes shut tight. What a beautiful bird she is. I just loved her
