I wondered what this little blackbird was pecking around at on the lawn and when I had a look, I noticed it was a berry. I think it's from the yew tree in the garden. The blackbirds are now back in full flow and visiting the garden every day. They wait for me to put the raisins and suet pellets out for me but the squirrels are getting to be a bit over powering! 4 squirrels coming to steal the bird food and they don't seem to be fussy what they eat whether it's nuts, suet balls and seed from the feeders - naughty boys!
There has been quite the squirrel party at my feeder today. I think 6 in all. They are so crazy. Love this shot with the berry in his mouth. Fantastic!
