I wasn't kidding! Unfortunately I've been so busy today that I haven't even picked my camera up! I went to the hospital for fasting blood tests this morning and although I arrived before 8 am, the queue was tremendous - no wonder the NHS can't cope! When they asked for 6 people to volunteer to go to another part of the hospital to seen a bit quicker, I was first in the queue. However, I still didn't leave the hospital until after 9.30. No wonder they charge you a minimum of £4 for 3 hours parking! Anyway, after coming home for breakfast (coffee essential), I quickly made a sandwich to take to work and plated up Steve's salad for lunch and still made it into work for just after 10 o'clock.
I had a busy morning at work before coming home to wrap my daughter's family's pressies and then went up to her house to deliver them and have a cup of tea with them. Then home to lay the fire, get the dinner prepared before uploading here so I'm just having another cup of tea before I go and cook it! Only 1 more day at work and then hopefully I can relax a bit.
Thanks for everyone's kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated. Best viewed on black if you have time.
It's a hectic time of year - feel very lucky not to need the NHS at the moment - especially not Addenbrooke's with it's new computer system. I need tame a robin!
@fjmom@carolmw@elisasaeter@fayefaye@snaphappi@gilbertwood@hermann Thanks @judithg A tame robin is definitely the best thing to have! LOL I don't envy what's going on at Addenbrookes at the moment. I worked there for 18 mths on the Medical Admissions Unit as a Sister - I don't miss it one bit!!!!
