Before I went shopping today, I had a very quick walk around Priory and the wind was really cold. Because the zip had broken on my usual work bag this morning, I grabbed another one and forgot my gloves so I didn't hang around for long at Priory. There were all sorts of birds around but lots of blackbirds and as I only took my bridge camera with me because it was pouring with rain when I went to work, I was a bit more limited. However, this blackbird stood and looked at me for a second which gave me the opportunity for this shot. I now wonder how I managed before I bought my DSLR as I find the focus so slow on the bridge camera although it does take some good shots provided the wildlife doesn't move too quickly!! I noticed that this bird has been ringed so he obviously known around these parts.
