Hanging on

Look who I found in the garden. I could hear this funny sound and eventually worked out where it was coming from. With Steve's help we located this little fellow in the undergrowth at the back of one of our garages. As soon as Steve disturbed him, he crept up the tree and he wasn't really very good at it because he's just a young one. He was calling for his Mummy and I felt really worried about him because she didn't seem to be about. He blended in very well with the leaves and the bark of the silver birch tree and I think he had previously been on the ground searching for ants which is what they mainly eat. Anyway, later on he had disappeared so hopefully his Mummy came and led him away to safety.

Another lovely surprise can be found in my BIts & Bobs album as another new baby visited with his mother.

I am posting early today as I have to work this afternoon - a very boring meeting with my colleagues and the so called "Team Leader". I'm afraid she speaks in riddles and we all leave wondering what it was all about - 2 hours wasted I'm afraid.

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
Gorgeous shot. he doesn't look as if he's been out of the nest long.
