How I want to fly
Like a seagull – so free
Soar on winds so high and light
Makes me feel so good and bright
Wings outstretched pulled so taut
Hovering there before dipping down
I’ll lose the wind – oh no I’m free
Free to glide o’er yonder tree
Above the rocks, above the sea
Oh a seagull I shall be
Free
I found this poem I wrote probably more than 20 years ago so I thought I would post it to accompany today's upload. I haven't had a lot of time today so it was a quick shot at Priory Country Park before I went to do the food shop and other errands after I had finished work.
Thanks for getting all 3 of my pictures on PP yesterday. You really are too kind! Oh no, it's me that's kind LOL I often tell people I only married Steve for his name. Well it did fit my previous job as Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children when I worked for the NHS.
