Just some of the starlings that visit the garden. They are such gregarious little birds, very noisy but I can't help but love them. They are eating the bird food at a tremendous rate and I have to fill them up everyday!
Lovely capture, I have spent the afternoon watching baby starling in our garden too but, as you say, they go through pounds of bird food, I'm glad they're not here all year round, I would need a second mortgage just to feed them!
They are also very vocal! Thankfully the ones that visit our garden don't seem to eat the seeds that we put out but they do make use of the baths, splashing water all over the place!
