This is a filler as it's been pouring with rain here and it's just like winter again! I took this at Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago when I visited with ?pixiemac on our recent trip to the US. We have adverts on TV here for Compare the Market which compares things like car insurance, etc. and meerkats are given as a free toy if you use the site to arrange your insurance. I have 5 of them sitting on the drawers in my bedroom! Each year I tell the company not to renew my car insurance so that I can get a toy - how sad is that!!! Anyway, when I saw the meerkats at the zoo, it reminded me of mine at home but this little fellow is really sweet.

@markp I guess it's our turn to have some rubbish weather as it's usually the other way round so I'm glad you are enjoying some good weather for a change!
