This blackbird has a nest in the grape vine outside our kitchen window and he has started landing on the washing line before flying round the corner to feed his little ones. The birds all look a bit tatty as they have been so busy feeding that they haven't had much time for grooming! He really has quite a beakful of flies and I expect the little ones will soon gobble them up
