I think I may have put a photo of Welcome Messenger a long time ago. This is a clinker built crab boat that used to belong to an old friend of ours and we have sailed out to the beach with him quite a few years ago but he sadly died 3 years ago aged 87. It is nice to think that Welcome Messenger still remains in the creek. This was taken at low tide soon after we arrived at Burnham Overy Staithe. We love Norfolk but hadn't been there for over 2 years. We always used to stay bed & breakfast with people who became very good friends but sadly they split up and so we hadn't managed to find another B&B that we could go to at short notice. Throughout the year we used to go there roughly once a month so it was lovely to go back there this week as it had always felt like coming home. We have some lovely memories of Norfolk and hope that these will continue.
