Enjoying the sunshine

This goldfinch was enjoying the sunshine at the top of the tree in Wood Lane. It was cold but beautifully bright and sunny with a nice blue sky.

Lovely capture!! I saw lots of goldfinches this morning all on a tree covered with lichen. they were all rubbing their beaks along the branches. Not seen this behaviour before.
