What a lovely surprise by rosiekind

What a lovely surprise

As I stood at the kitchen sink, I noticed a blue tit having a look in the camera nest box and then he popped in to have a better look. Mrs Blue Tit also hopped onto the conservatory roof to see what he was so excited about. I grabbed my camera and waited for him to come out and voila - this shot. It looks like we are going to have another nest this year. Last year there were 8 eggs but only 4 babies actually flew the nest. Let's hope it's even better this year. I must admit I did wonder whether it was the same pair but I suppose I shall never know.

Thanks for getting 2 out of 3 of my images on PP and for your encouragement regarding the editing in Silver ~Efex Pro.
Great capture and pov :)

@gigiflower I love my blue tit garden visitors!! Lovely shot. We have about 4 that live in a tree in our garden. Wondering if we'll see babies this year.
