This is another one from Wednesday as I have been doing a lot of watching today but without any success (well it is Friday 13th!). I have spent nearly 3 hours in 2 episodes down the brook and I've seen the kingfishers but they haven't perched once on the stick! However, a fledgling came and perched in the next tree right beside me and I would have got a photo with my phone had Steve not been with me and flapped his hands to get rid of a horsefly that had settled on him! Grrrrr it was lovely to see the little one and I was so surprised that it took a few seconds to realise that the little bird just landed was a fledgling. So it's another one from my day out with Sarah and Pam.
