I am reliably informed that these are barnacle geese rather than Canada geese which I thought they were. When I went for my walk this afternoon (4.2 miles walked today!), the geese were in the usual fields by Dovecote Lake and some flew across to the other field across the path but I didn't get very good pics of them. I was pleased when a couple walking towards me startled them so that they flew across and I managed to get some better shots. I find it very difficult focusing and getting pics of birds in flight so I was quite pleased with this shot
