This tailless blackbird really thinks he is the king of the castle because he has a nest in the conifer just outside the conservatory. He has been fighting off any other blackbird or starling that has come near the food I put on the sundial. He is really territorial. I would have got some wonderful pics this morning if I hadn't been in my dressing gown as they were fighting in mid air but one little starling thought he would take him on! He landed up on his back in the rockery with this fellow shouting at him and pinning him down!
