The birds were very well trained. It must have taken ages to get them to do exactly as he wanted. I always admire people who can train wild birds (albeit that they were raised in captivity!). As you know, I love birds of any description and I suppose, in our own way, we have managed to train our cockatoo Bas to do what we want as he usually goes back into his cage to have a "dump" and he waits until we sit down to eat our breakfast before he starts on his. I also taught him how to wolf whistle although he doesn't talk but I love him anyway. I'm sure animals and birds know when you love them and try to please
