When I walked away from the main paths, I could hear woodie shouting in alarm but wasn't sure where he was. Anyway, as I headed over to the wooded area to get out of the sun (it was scorching hot), I saw this fellow sitting on the path in front of me. He just sat and watched me but as I tried to creep forward to get a better view, of course, he flew off and I didn't even get any pics of him in flight which was annoying.
