Funny Fungi by rosiekind

Funny Fungi

The ones on the left were under a tree in the garden and the one on the right which I have never seen before was taken yesterday in Wood Lane. It was all glossy and shiny which made me bend down to take a shot of it. I thought the ones on the front of the pic (left) looked like a little family of fungi - Mummy, Daddy, and 2 children! I can tell that I'm not inspired as I only took 5 photos today. Makes a change from about 300! LOL

By the way if anyone knows what this fungi are, please tell me.
The ones on the left are Parasol mushrooms unopened. Once they open they look like umbrellas. I find them in the sand dunes and they are edible. Don't know about the right one but it looks a bit lethal to me!

A great diptych and like @callymazoo Cally ,my first instinct was that the glossy orange one must be lethal !!

Lovely images of fungi :)

Ah ha! Apparently best eaten when young, the ones on the left. Also know as judges wig I believe. Parasol mushroom sounds good too! Time to go fungi hunting in this warm damp weather.
