Not a particularly good shot but nuthatches have been on my bucket list for a long time so I was pleased to get a couple of shots of this one while I was in Bavaria. I had been looking for a black woodpecker as I've never seen them either and I did see one fly onto a tree but then he climbed round the back before I had a chance to get a shot of him. Never mind. I shall just have to go back to Bavaria next year and have another try! LOL
We bird photographers do have a list don't we. I have a silly #1 on that list right now and its these black birds in my back yard. I get pictures of them but not good enough to identify because they are to skittish when at the feeder or on the ground near it.
