I really wanted to post a picture of the birds fighting over the food but of course they were too quick. The chaffinches have been trying to get up on the feeders but the goldfinches weren't having any of it and were quite nasty to them. However, they don't seem to mind the greenfinches. Perhaps it's because they realise that greenfinch numbers are dwindling so they think they had better give them a chance!
