This was an eagle owl and he was beautiful. His feathers looked so soft and fluffy and he flew in just above the heads of little children who were sitting in the ring. I would have loved to have him fly onto my arm and I could have volunteered, but I wouldn't have got the shots then so I declined in order to get some lovely photos.
@sunnygreenwood I think this was bred in captivity but i'm not sure whether the falconer had bred him or whether he had got it from another breeder
