Female pheasants

This is 2 or the 3 pheasants who graced the presence of the male. I think that they are quite sweet although not as colourful as the male. I was intending to try out some street photography in Bedford this afternoon and took my camera but didn't really get a chance/see anyone I thought I would like to capture. Although we did stop to speak to a couple of black ladies we know and afterwards I regretted not asking the younger one if I could take her pic as she is very beautiful and would have made a lovely portrait. I shall have to get braver next time

A lovely capture , you are so good at getting perfect pictures of birds, this morning whilst I was having breakfast there was a beautiful woodpecker on the tree just out a few yards from the house of course by the time I got my camera it had gone
