Identify - best on black

I've been having a bit of fun in Picasa and I wondered whether you could identify what this is. I don't usually edit my shots really other than perhaps tweak the contrast so it is completely different to my usual postings.

Very cool effect. It looks like a neon sign of some sort, although I know it's a flower. There's no way I can identify. I don't know what most are to begin with! But this is cool.
