Greenfinch in the tree

Not a stunningly pretty bird but all the same they are very welcome in my garden. The greenfinch has been on the endangered list because they suffered from a nasty infection but the ones visiting now seem to be quite healthy so I think they must have had a good breeding season as their numbers seem to be improving.
