Hurricane Ophelia reached Ireland today. The storm isn't expected to reach London and the South East, but the sky did go dark grey around 3pm, before turning red. The news reports say the red sky and sun are caused by tropical air and dust from the Sahara, and forest fires in Portugal and Spain. This was taken in Morden Hall Park on my way home - it is deliberately underexposed so the trees would be silhouettes, so it wasn't as dark as it looks!
