Arundel Castle dates from the 11th century, and was restored in the 18th and 19th centuries (including a significant restoration in advance of Queen Victoria's three day visit in 1846). Owned by the Dukes of Norfolk for the past 400 years, it is as impressive on the inside as it looks from the outside.
