An oak among mugs

There's not enough trees illustrated on mugs I feel. This one is well over a hundred years old
and still looking lively.

I'm delighted to announce that Rick @digitalrn has found a woodcreature,
here's a link to check it out - http://365project.org/digitalrn/album2/2012-01-03
Wow, what a trreasure that is, and there should be more masculine mugs out there for us

@digitalrn I agree, I'd be content to see some more designs around which are classy and masculine. People say, "They don't make em' like they used to" and there's a fair element of truth in that.

Matt, be sure to check out my one posting. I think I finally captured a tree figure.

@digitalrn I've seen it and made a comment. I think it's a great capture with the sunset . Incidentally, how weird is it that I post a mug with a tree on it, and on the same day you find your woodcreature. You have to love these odd coincidences.

Seriously 100+ years old? I would not even touch it for fear I would drop, lol. I go through glasses and mugs.... It's really nice looking

Dammit! That just reminded me I forgot to post my wood creature that I shot ages ago! Now i'm going to have to go through a bazillion shots and find it! Anyways, you're right, there aren't enough trees on mugs. I don't think I have a one!

@happypat Hahaha very funny, Pat. I know very well that you know that it's a crest. ;)

@pwallis Hmmph where is this tree creature and why has it been hidden away? Shame on you! These Canadians need to value their umm imaginery wood creatures.

How amazing to have such an old mug! And a tree adds beauty to anything it adorns.
