A twist on the side by sabresun

A twist on the side

(better enlarged)

It's been dark, gloomy and rainy all day. On the plus side, grass paths do look all the greener for it. I was going to post this in b/w as the centre tree looked particularly good that way, but in the end went for the damp colours that were actually there. I still like the middle tree for its pleasing shape and will have to go back and take a few shots of it now I've noticed it.
I miss countryside scenes like this. I need to book a trip to see our relatives over there!

A very nice delicate shot. I still think you made the right choice to stay with colour....

@richardshears It had a different feel in b/w, almost woodcut like.

In spite of the rain--this looks like a beautiful hike!

@clarissajohal It was that type of fine, misty rain that gets you soaked even without noticing it at the time.

Yeah, I like your photo the way it is. I think the color is nice with its muted effects given the fog and mist. Nicely captured.
