That is soo lovely. I like this shot a lot. It has all the things you have been incorporating in your work lately together in one piece. Did I mention I love that you have been photographing trees lately? Well, I DO!!!
Is this still the unscheduled, long-way-round part of your walk? This looks like you looking over the fence and seeing that open gate into the next field and wondering how much further you need to go. It's the open gate that does it.
@dulciknit I was heading towards a folly which is in that field over the stile and then a little to the right, which I needed to get to to shelter from oncoming rain. You can see how grey the clouds are. It was the grey of the clouds against the greenery that made me take the picture.
My fave kind of light....that intense sunshine before the storm!
