@summerfield It's not a true crystal ball but a paper weight that has air bubbles in it. I have also borrowed a crystal ball from a friend so will experiment with that over the weekend.
@swilde Sue, I have used a paper weight that has air bubbles in it. Placed on purple tissue paper, shone torch light the background for about 1 second at the start of the exposure
