We went to a wine farm for lunch today and I saw this wonderful motorbike and sidecar, painted in the colours of the South African flag. We spoke to the owner of the bike. This bike is part of a fleet of vintage sidecars. They are original Chinese Red Army bikes dating back to the mid 1960s. The bikes are based on the 1938 World War Two BMW R71 sidecar. Between 1955 and 1975, millions of these bikes were manufactured in China exclusively for the Red Army. In the mid 70s the bikes were declared obsolete for military purposes and almost all have been decommissioned and dismantled.
This is the only one in the fleet of 25 vintage sidecars that is painted in this fashion.
The fleet offer tours around the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. For more information: http://www.sidecars.co.za/

Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Love this. My Grandpa used to tell a funny but frightening story of his wreck in the "Bathtub on the side" when it came unconnected and the road turned but the sidecar and grandpa kept going straight
@simster sounds good. Had a giggle when I read the challenge as my challenge for you is also related to abstracts! Shall go and post your challenge forthwith!
