Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@stray_shooter Here are some of the flamingos that I saw last week. Unfortunately they are not easy to get to. They are only visible from the river and thankfully I was with some friends that had a boat!
@dolphin Molly, so good to see you pop up on my feed! I was chatting to someone the other day talking about the get together we had in the Paarl area, which was well over a year ago!
@salza Thanks, Sally. Yes, it does seem like a long time since we met up, and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge, as they say, since then! Glad you're still posting.
Awesome find! Nice to see flamingos that don't have the little rings around their legs. Happy that you were able to get such great capture in a natural setting. Love it!
Totally agree with Ron @stray_shooter that it would be lovely to see them in the wild! And they're so different in coloration for the Chilean ones I've seen! Ron was with us at the zoo today, and I thought of you when the last animal a handler had brought out before we left was a pigmy falcon! Never saw such a tiny bird of prey! The facts about it were amazing...sounded pretty fearless!
Such an awesome shot with perfect DoF and exposure. They truly are beautiful birds and it is so nice you were able to catch them in their natural setting. That always adds that extra challenge to making a good shot.
